ISPD EuroPD 2020
SEC, Glasgow, Scotland
The SEC (Scottish Event Campus) is a modern, compact venue, centrally located on the banks of the iconic River Clyde. Glasgow is a very walkable city and most of the hotels, venues, restaurants and tourist attractions are within walking distance of each other. This makes it a great city for easy networking without having to worry about travelling long distances in busy traffic.
With its own on-site train station, a 3 minute train journey will take you to the heart of the city centre of Glasgow where delegates will be able to experience the warmth and vibrancy of our city.
The World’s First Healthy Venue
As the first venue to be accredited at ‘Silver Healthy Venue level’ by the World Obesity Federation, the ISPD EuroPD 2020 Congress will aim to offer healthier lifestyle options for all our delegates – ranging from a choice of nutritious food to encouraging physical activity in and around the venue.
Our delegates will have access to free Nextbikes (cycles) and we hope you will join us in taking part in the ISPD EuroPD on-site ‘step’ challenge.
We will be able to offer some fabulous discounts to our delegates, including:
〉 Discounted delegate travel on public transport tickets
〉 20% off travel between Glasgow Airport and the City Centre with Glasgow Taxis (commercial taxi firm)
〉 Discounted ticket for City Sightseeing Tour
〉 Discounts in participating shops and restaurants
Further details will be provided when Registration opens.
